Based on the book by L.
Frank Baum
Music by Harold
Arlen and Lyrics by E.Y. Harburg
• Recommended for everyone age 4 and older
• Performances will be at the Lincoln
Theatre 769 E. Long St.
Based upon one
of the most popular movies of all time, this is the story
that started it all. It begins when a little Kansas farm
girl, Dorothy Gale, and her dog Toto are blown away in a
tornado and land in a fairyland named Oz. Here she meets a
very unusual cast of characters - the Scarecrow, Tin
Woodman, and Cowardly Lion, and together they go on a quest
to see the Wizard of Oz, each of them seeking what they want
most in life. Join Dorothy as she confronts the Wizard and
even stands up to the Wicked Witch of the West in this
wonderful adventure filled with all the songs you know and
love.
