Welcome one and all to
the CCT Academy!
We have had such a wonderful year so far and have so much
more to look forward to in the coming months.
The
2008-2009 CCT Academy concluded with our highest enrollment in
the past five years, thanks to each of you. We have offered
several new classes in each age group and are constantly
brainstorming new class ideas that will help bring out the
creativity and imagination in your child. Some of our most
popular classes still remain such as Junie B. Jones,
A Princess
Party,
Beginning
Acting,
A Hogwart’s
Adventure,
and
An Actor’s
Craft: Auditioning Skills.
I’m so
excited about some of the opportunities we have coming up for
your children this Fall to kick off our 2009-2010 Academy year!
In
addition to some of our favorite classes that you’ve grown to
love we are also offering Follow
the Yellow Brick Road
(for ages 5-7) and How I Became a Pirate
(for ages
8-11) classes in conjunction with our mainstage shows,
The
Wizard of Oz
and
How I Became
a Pirate.
This is a fun way to introduce your children to theatre. Have
them take the class and then call the CCT Box Office
614-224-6672 for tickets to see the show!
And for all of 12-16 year olds out there, I would like to
introduce Acting
101: An Introduction.
This new class will focus on the basics of stage acting
including stage direction, terminology, auditioning skills and
how a production comes to fruition. If you are interested in
theatre, then this is the class for you.
Complete
details can be found inside this brochure as well as on our
website. Space is limited, so be sure to register quickly!
If
your children love making friends and have a flair for the
dramatic, then the CCT Academy is the place for them. Please
take advantage of our wonderful programs and classes and know
that our main goal is to encourage your child to explore his or
her individual talent while promoting teamwork and building
self-confidence.
Sincerely, Joelle
Leigh Harris
