Columbus Children’s Theatre and BalletMet have you covered. Not only

Damsels and Dramatic Dragons ½ Day Camp

Join CCT and BalletMet for an
amazing fairytale adventure this summer! Each day you will rotate
between BalletMet Dance Instructors and CCT Teaching Artists who will
have all sorts of fun activities in store for you. Throughout this five
day adventure you will learn to sing, act and dance while creating a
performance like no other. Whether you are a Dancing Damsel or a
Dramatic Dragon or a little bit of both, be prepared to dazzle your
family on Share Day!
Join CCT and the YWCA of Columbus for a Theatre Day Camp experience that
will fit your schedule! These two CCT Day Camps will be held at the YWCA
Summer Program locations in Westerville and New Albany from 9am-3pm
during the listed dates below. The YWCA will provide before and after
care as well as snacks for your child from 7am-9am, before the camp, and
from 3pm-6pm, after the camp. We ask that you have your child bring a lunch and a snack,
while avoiding all nut products due to allergies. Registration for these
day camps will be handled solely through the YWCA website and will be
different than other CCT registrations and may take more time.
Never been in a play or a musical? Well here’s your chance to get some
practical experience. You will audition for a part in a musical cabaret,
rehearse and perform it by the end of the week. The production will
include solo and group musical numbers, choreography, and acting. All
aspects of a musical production will be covered: audition, stage
direction, theater terms, choreography, acting, and vocal techniques. No
advance preparation is required, but be prepared to move and sing on the
first day of class.
Come and spend time with us as we explore the world of Dr. Seuss and all
of the adventures he writes about in his books! You never know who you
might run into; the Cat in the Hat, Sneeches on their Beaches or maybe
even the Lorax! Hungry for some green eggs and ham? Ready for a wacky
adventure with the Cat in the Hat? Time to tickle your teeth with a Fox

Calling all American Girls!
We’re going to explore the wonderful American Girls stories- on stage!
(Students are encouraged to bring their dolls and all other American
Girls paraphernalia.) Come and join us as we travel with Molly, Addy,
Kit, Felicity, Samantha, Kirsten, and Josephina through time and explore
when and how they lived. At the end of the week you will have quite a
bit of information to share with your family and friends, as well as an
amazing stage performance. Who knew history could be this much fun!?

Singing for the Stage

It’s never too early to start!
This fun and clever class will teach your youngsters the fundamentals of
singing in a stage musical. They’ll learn some of the tricks of the
trade and begin to develop the confidence it takes to belt out the tunes
on Share Day!
Calling all aspiring young actors! This beginning acting class will
